Is it 7:00 yet?

I have 45 minutes left of work today. I'm going to challenge myself to not check my email at any time in those 45 minutes.  I love a good challenge...

Today was the date for the big California State Marathon. *groan* I can't recommend NOT working marathon day enough. They poor fools run from Folsom to the state capitol building on a most traffic jamming route. Not only was I cut off from an easy route to work, but I was also cut off from my coffee! It was kinda cool seeing runner after runner after runner plugging ahead. Well, in that better them than me kinda way.

Thank god this is my last weekend shift of the semester. Ten minutes before it's time to go two little freshmen came up and asked for books and articles on possessed dolls and haunted houses. Seriously, they're looking for "scholarly" work on those topics. What the $%#@ is somebody teaching on this campus? I already know they're certainly smoking something.

I won't mention last week's question about levitation and dreams that come true.
