I'm getting hooked on the Colbert Report and Daily Show again. Hee! Comedy Central streams entire episodes online now - and not in the chopped up bits that they used to do. They do have commercials, but I can put up with one measly commercial before each segment, no problem. You know what this means? Yep, my chances of ever getting cable again are shrinking.
And speaking of all things tv. I realized recently that my tv is now 10 year old! I got it when I started graduate school. [Man, has it really been that long since I started graduate school?!?] It's so old I had to get one of those digital converter box thingies for the big Feb. 09 switchover.
I got the 50 dollar box even though the government coupon was only worth $40. There was a $35 dollar box, too. But I wanted to cost the government as much as I could... Can you tell that I'm a little bit bitter that the feds are selling off a highly valuable public good? Anyway, I ordered two coupons and I'm giving the second to a co-worker so he can go buy one too. No, he doesn't actually need one, but he's willing to help me soak the government $35 dollars at a time.
