May. 6th, 2009 09:37 amHere's a quicky to tide us all over until I get more time to post. The weekend in Utah for my brother's wedding was nice. The rain actually stopped for the ceremony and all. But I got treated to a super-nifty thunderstorm on Sunday. Woot! We get very, very few thunderstorms here in Sacramento , so that was definitely a treat.
Yesterday, I went to a Rivercats game (AAA farm team for Oakland A's). A coach for the other team (Reno Aces) was a baseball player I had a childhood crush on! And when I say childhood, I mean childhood. It was back when he was a player for the Atlanta Braves from 1981-1983. *sigh* I barely restrained myself from dashing down and asking for his autograph ^__^
