Pardon the language, but I thought it was appropriate as I just finished reading Expletive Deleted $&#@*!: a good look at bad language.  A somewhat amusing and sometimes dull look at how and why we curse/use foul language.  You know how when you read or say a word too many times it starts sounding all wierd?  Well, that happened for me in the "Shit Happens" chapter.  At least I have a new appreciation of the many and wonderful combinations of that lovely word.

By far the best thing I found in the book was this little gem.  Once upon a time "harlot" and "wench" were neither gender specific nor pejorative.  WAH!  I'm so so sorry that I missed the opportunity to use "wench" on a guy!  I'd love for that to come back into use any day now (but for the most fun to be extracted, it'd have to retain the modern insult aspect) ^__^

One of my other New Year's resolutions was not to say I'd write more on XZY topic in my LJ later then not follow through. So I didn't say that about my Arizona trip, but here I am in a chatty mood so I thought I'd write more about it. Warning, I'm in a really, really chatty mood so read at your own risk ^__^
