adagiobreezes1 made me do it!!

Apparently I do this because I responded to adagiobreezes1's entry and voila! the first meme appears on my lj.  And here I thought I was going to hold out a whole lot longer...   I'm stealing her directions:

1.  gecko:  Mmm, one of the main characters in an online comic I'm reading is a gecko.  Kinda.  Sorta.  More of a gecko ace, which I'm sure you all understand.  But he's awfully cute.  And ever since I started reading it, I'm squee whenever I see a gecko. Fangirl, who me?

2.  green tea: The substance that finally sucked me into the cult of caffeine.  Specifically green tea blasts from Jamba Juice, damn them.  But now I'm drinking the regular ol' tea-bag type green tea, too.  *sigh*  Surely somebody once said you can never have too many addictions, right?

3.  *gasp*: One of my favorite sound effects.  I always envision a middle class 50's women with her white gloved hand on her chest in horror!shock! when I use this.

4.  godDAMMit: When I heard my dad using this word when I was a kid I knew he was really, really mad.   He said it with such feeling. I shake my head in pity when I hear people these days tossing off the "f" word with not even half the passion that my dad used goddammit. 

5.  Gakuen Heaven: A Japanese boy's love anime series that's currently being shown in Japan.  It's based on video games of the same name which, if ever translated, would actually make me buy a video game.  It's set, of course, at an all boy's school.  Because that makes it such much easier for the smexing fun!

6.  Gromit:  As in Wallace and...  They animated doggie who says so much without saying a word.  My favorite was the first one - it breaks my heart when the machine gets stuck alone on the moon.  WAAAAH!  Until he gets his skiis.  And don't even get me started on the cheese!

7.   Gundam Wing:  Yes!  Another Japanese anime.  But this one I've seen so very little of yet I've wasted so many hours reading GW fanfiction.  Ahhh, who needs sleep anyway?  Bonus points to anybody who knows off the top of their head what "gundam" actually stands for [don't look at me I have NO idea].

8.  Google: Oh, how I love to use you, you tracker of ALL things typed into you.  

9.  Goonies: Not really a favorite movie of mine but its midnight showing in St. Louis brought about one of my favorite alcohol-soaked evenings of fun.  Well, for me at least ^__^

10.  gynecomastia: "The visible or palpable development of breast tissue in boys or men"  Ok!  I cheated!  I didn't know this word existed before tonight.  I was looking up how to spell goiter (I like how goiter sounds as it rolls off the tongue) and ran across this instead.  Heh.
