M is for Music
May. 4th, 2006 12:24 amOh my! I do believe I feel a "migraine" coming on. It started the second I saw that I have 208 sick leave hours built up. Then it grew when I checked my calendar and saw no meetings at all to attend on Thursday. Amazing how that correlates.
So
pacalvotan told me the other day that Ministry will be playing Sacramento at the Crest later this month. Even though my Ministry cds have a thick layer of dust I'm totally tempted to go. I just don't know 1) if I want to tarnish the memories of the last time I saw them in Chicago (one of my favorite concerts ever!) 2) do I really want to pay $35 to see them at the Crest? and 3) Do I really want to pay $35 to see them when I never even bothered to take the plastic off the last cd of theirs I bought. Hmmm. You know I'd be there in a second if I knew they were going to play Lay Lady Lay.
And speaking of concerts, I've begun my search for the dj set list for the night we went to see Ladytron (not trying too hard though). I tripped across an eBay auction and saw that somebody paid $139 for one. Ladytron. ticket. To give a little perspective - I got mine for $18 plus fees. I guess being anal retentive and fast pays? (I bought mine in the February pre-sale).
