why did I give them my contact info?

I spent a bit of a lovely Sunday afternoon (seriously, it was in the high 60s and sunny - simply gorgeous!  I told you the stupid groundhog didn't see it's shadow around here) checking out various condos and lofts with friends. It was probably four hours, max, but I feel like I've done about as much of that as I can tolerate for now. I mean, some of the places were really cool (yeah, I'll take the corner loft for $600,000 please!) and some less so (you want me to pay how much for your Ikea-decorated loft???). Basically, I'm not ready to commit myself to a 30-year mortgage. Especially considering that the property I want most, I can't afford at all. But you try telling my friend that. I wish the real estate market would recover already so I wouldn't have to hear how this is such a wonderful time to buy. That'd be the best reason for it to recover, right?

Never did get the Star Wars ones

Postage is going up again? Maybe I should stock up on some of those Forever stamps! Heh, I can just imagine all the people who'll hoard them for years and years and years. Um, one can only hope the Post Office will be around for so long for people to fully use them.
