happiness is damaged hearing

I'm a happy, but broke, as a little clam after this past weekend. The happiness was from getting out of Sacramento to see the Dandy Warhols play in SF Saturday night. I was a smidge sad that I was a bit late in buying tickets so instead of lusting for the lead Dandy from the floor, I had to sit back and enjoy the show from the balcony. On the other hand, they played for over two hours, so around midnight I was awful happy to have my seat :) They sounded great even if it did seem that they weren't used to playing such a large venue. Plus, I got that Dandy Warhols t-shirt (what a shock, I know :) I've been wanting for a long, long time.

The broke portion of the weekend resulted from the car repairs I had to get done on Friday. I'd kinda been putting them off, but since I had those concert tickets I wanted to make sure my car was ok to drive. *sigh* So now I'm the "proud' owner of a new tire! Woot! And now my car has had it's millionth alignment of the past four years. And the tires are newly balanced. Again, *sigh*. I will say it handled very nicely to and from SF, but I so would have preferred to spend that money on an overpriced pair of shoes or something.
