hard to believe that was a holiday
Nov. 1st, 2008 02:16 pmEverybody have a good Halloween? I celebrated with my one-week checkup with the oral surgeon. What a waste of time - again with the 30 second peek into the mouth and he was off to do other things. I guess that means everything looks ok... but I wanted to whine a bit about the residual aching in the molar left behind. Bah! I'm a little anxious, is the pain going to go away, or does that tooth need work, too? His little checkup was so whirlwindy that I forgot to ask my questions before he was gone. *sigh*
Anyway, by the time that was done I was hungry so I went to the Lyon's restaurant down the street. If you're not familiar with Lyon's, let's just say it bears more than a passing resemblance to Denny's (including the 's) except they serve alcohol. Woot! I've never felt the need to eat that type of food in the two years I've lived here since I have so many other fun restaurants here in Midtown. But I actually had the best meal since my teeth were removed a week ago - French toast, eggs, and bacon - Yay! breakfast. And Yay! restaurants that serve breakfast 24/7!
By the time I got home I could feel a migraine settling in, so I hopped into bed (it was only 7:00!) and slept the night away. *sigh* Somebody tell me they went to a cool Halloween party, please? Or maybe handed out candy to bunches of young, well-dressed, things? I feel like such a party pooper!
