Methinks somebody wanted to go to bed
Feb. 5th, 2008 10:12 pmbecause the New York Times called California for Clinton at 10:04 pm (1:04 am their time) with a mere 19% of precincts reporting. Heh, I love it when they have to stay up late because we're all playing on the same day.
And speaking of long days, when I voted at 7:00 this evening four out of six of my poll workers had bloodshot eyes and looked exhausted. Also, do they make the kids at juvvie hall work the polls? Because the two young fellows (and I do mean young, they looked to be in their teens) who helped me kinda looked disreputable. But maybe it was the bloodshot eyes that contributed to the rather hungover/ young punk appearance. Besides the clothing and attitude, I mean.
